Account & profile: When you sign up with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture. We use this to create and manage your account and to link you to weddings you manage or are invited to.

Wedding and guest data: You provide wedding details (e.g. couple names, date), guest lists (names, phone numbers, email), RSVP and attendance counts, tags, groups, and event assignments. We store this to provide guest list management, RSVP tracking, and event organisation.

WhatsApp-related data: To support bulk WhatsApp updates, we use the phone numbers in your guest list. Message content is sent through WhatsApp in line with your use of our tools. We do not store the body of messages sent via WhatsApp beyond what is needed to operate the service.

Meta/Facebook integration data: If you connect Meta/Facebook services for WhatsApp usage, we may process related identifiers such as business account information, phone number IDs, and integration metadata required to enable and maintain the integration.

Usage and technical data: We may collect information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and how you use our site (e.g. pages visited, actions taken) to improve the service, fix issues, and ensure security.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain WedPlan.in (guest lists, RSVP, events, team access).
• To enable bulk WhatsApp wedding updates and related features.

WhatsApp: When you use our bulk WhatsApp features, messages are sent via WhatsApp. Your use of WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy and terms. You must use WhatsApp in compliance with their rules (e.g. consent, opt-out, no spam).

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers that help us run the platform (e.g. hosting, analytics) under strict confidentiality and only for the purposes described here.

We retain your account and wedding data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
