Terms and Conditions

Welcome to WedPlan.in. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services, including guest list management, RSVP invites, and bulk WhatsApp wedding updates. By signing up or using WedPlan.in, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use WedPlan.in. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date will change and continued use means you accept the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

WedPlan.in provides tools to:

• Create and manage wedding profiles and guest lists (names, contact details, attendance counts, tags, groups).
• Manage events and assign guests to events.
• Track RSVPs and attendance.
• Send bulk wedding-related updates via WhatsApp (when you use our WhatsApp integration).
• Connect and use Meta/Facebook-linked WhatsApp messaging integrations where enabled.
• Collaborate with other users (e.g. owners, editors, viewers) on a wedding.

We may add, change, or discontinue features. We will try to give notice of significant changes where practical.

3. Your Account and Responsibilities

You must provide accurate information when signing up (e.g. via Google). You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account. You must not share your login credentials or allow others to use your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

If you are a wedding owner, you are responsible for who you add as managers or team members and for their use of the wedding data within WedPlan.in.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use WedPlan.in only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the service in any way that breaks applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload or use guest data (e.g. phone numbers) without proper consent or in a way that violates privacy or telecom rules.
• Use our bulk WhatsApp features for spam, harassment, or messages that violate WhatsApp’s policies or terms.
• Use Meta/Facebook integrations in a way that violates Meta Platform Terms or applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other users’ accounts, or third-party services.
• Interfere with or overload the service, or use automated means to scrape or abuse the platform without our permission.
• Resell or commercially exploit the service or data in a way not intended by us.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or misused the service.

5. WhatsApp, Meta, and Messaging Integrations

When you use our bulk WhatsApp or Meta/Facebook-connected messaging features:

• You must have a proper legal basis (e.g. consent, legitimate interest) to contact guests and to use their phone numbers for WhatsApp.
• You must comply with WhatsApp’s terms, policies, and applicable messaging and privacy laws (e.g. no spam, honour opt-outs).
• You must comply with Meta/Facebook platform policies and only use connected accounts that you are authorised to manage.
• You are responsible for the content of messages you send. We are not responsible for how recipients use that content or for any disputes arising from your messages.

We do not guarantee delivery or availability of WhatsApp or other third-party messaging services.

6. Your Data and Licence

You keep ownership of the content and data you upload (e.g. guest lists, wedding details). You grant us a licence to use, store, and process that data as needed to provide and improve WedPlan.in, in line with our Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the right to provide guest contact details and to send them messages through our service (including WhatsApp), and that you will not use the service to send unsolicited or unlawful communications.

7. Intellectual Property

WedPlan.in’s name, logo, design, and our software and materials are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or use them for any purpose other than using the service as intended without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that WedPlan.in will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not liable for the actions of other users, for the availability or behaviour of third-party services (e.g. Google, WhatsApp), or for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service or your data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WedPlan.in and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, profits, or business) arising from your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or one hundred Indian Rupees if you have not paid anything).

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or access if you breach these Terms or for other operational or legal reasons. On termination, your right to use WedPlan.in ceases. We may retain or delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

11. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.

12. Data Deletion Requests

If you want your WedPlan account data or Meta/Facebook integration-related data deleted, please submit a request using our Data Deletion Policy page. We will verify ownership and process valid requests within a reasonable time, subject to legal requirements.
